Dave has been a woodturner for serveral years and prides himself on salvaging the woods from which his creations evolve. Because of that, many friends and family members have oftentimes saved logs from storm ravaged or diseased trees and have given them to Dave thus enabling him to create many beautiful and unique one-of-a-kind works of art.

Dave's creations are available in Marion, VA at The Artisan Gift Gallery inside The Collins House Inn (for which he and his wife are owners/innkeepers), The Appalachian Spirit Gallery, The Black Rooster Lounge and Gallery (inside the General Francis Marion Hotel), as well as Handsome Molly's Bistro and Small Wine Shoppe.
