• The Collins House Inn has a strict no-smoking policy which is enforced for the safety and comfort of all our guests. We (and our insurance company) do not allow smoking, incense/candle burning, or irons in any of our guest rooms. This policy is stated at the time a reservation is made and repeated in the confirmation letter.
  • As a non-smoking inn, we guarantee a clean, fresh and safe room for our guests. Cigarette and/or cigar smoke permeates the rugs, bedspreads, pillows, curtains, etc. thereby requiring professional cleaning of all items to eliminate the offending smoke odor which non-smokers can detect immediately. Should a guest fail to adhere to our no-smoking policy, a surcharge will be assessed to the registered guest. This surcharge can be upwards of (but not limited to) $500.00, depending on what is necessary to return the room to its original smoke-free condition. If the room must be taken out of availability in order to deodorize it, we will also charge, in addition to the aforementioned costs, the standard room rental rate for that room for every night it is out of service.
  • Candles, any other flammables, and irons are not permitted in guest rooms.
  • Guests are responsible for any damages.
  • We are unable to accommodate guests under the age of 21.
  • We are unable to accommodate pets.
  • Only registered guests are allowed in guestrooms.

*** The Collins House Inn is a smoke-free property and has no *** designated smoking areas.

  • We will gladly accept a cancellation from you if received (and acknowledged by us) at least 3 full days (72 hours) in advance of the 4:00 PM check-in time of your scheduled arrival date.
  • If you are unable to cancel within the 72-hour timeframe, we will attempt to rebook your reserved room. However, if it is not rebooked, you may be charged a minimum of one night’s room rental (plus applicable taxes).
  • Holiday weekend, NASCAR Race Weekend, or other special events weekend reservations require a 14-day cancellation notice. We will attempt to rebook your reserved room. However, if it is not rebooked, you may be charged for the full amount of your reservation.
  • If any special items have been purchased for you in advance, you will be charged for those items if they are not returnable.
  • No-shows and/or early departures will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
  • Minimum 48-hour advance reservations are required.
  • A major credit card is required to hold and guarantee your reservation.
  • Accepted forms of payment include Cash, Debit Cards, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
  • All reservations are confirmed via email (or hard copy upon request).
  • Reservations, using Gift Certificates, are subject to room availability. The Gift Certificate must be presented at check-in.
  • Check-in is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Please let us know if you need special arrangements for check-in outside our normal hours. (Out of consideration for our in-house guests, we are unable to accommodate check-ins after 9:00 p.m.)
  • Check-out is 11:00 AM.
  • Early check-in or late check-out is available by prior arrangement only and subject to availability.
